Tropical Christmas Wonderland is a magical, Africa-inspired Christmas platform designed to deliver a unique, joyful and immersive family holiday experience at Eko Hotels & Suites. It brings to life a rich fictional universe where African fantasy meets the festive spirit of Christmas.
At the heart of this universe, there are various unique realms representing a distinct world within the Wonderland. Each year, one realm is chosen as a central theme to guide the narrative and experience for the season.
The annual event takes physical form in Prideland — a vibrant, immersive space within the Eko Hotels & Suites grounds. Prideland is the gateway to the Wonderland, where each year’s chosen realm is brought to life through storytelling, performances, and themed attractions. Every year, Santa Illie, the Joy Bringer, and Mother Claus, his golden-hearted queen, descend upon one realm to celebrate Christmas with the people.
Where It All Comes Together
But at the heart of it all lies a truth older than the realms: Christmas is the celebration of Light coming into the world.
Long before sleighbells or sandmen, a Child was born beneath starlight—a Prince of Peace, whose love would never fade. The realms remember. Some through carols, others through fire, but always through joy.
