Eko Hotels and Suites has partnered with the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) to promote the tropical Christmas wonderland, a 14-day activity-packed staycation holding in December. Eko Hotels formalized the partnership with the association at a town hall event that several association members attended.
In a presentation to the association, the Director of Sales and Marketing, Dr. Iyadunni Gbadebo, stressed the importance of reigniting pride in Nigeria and Africa and deliberately promoting positive stories about Nigeria. She also tasked members of the association to prioritize promoting and selling Nigerian destinations to boost the country’s tourism and hospitality sector and grow the economy.
“We’ve put together a holiday package that is as good as, if not better than, most of the holiday destinations in Dubai or Europe,” Dr Iyadunni stated. “Hence, I want you all to take pride in pushing this Christmas package, not only because it is good for our bottom line but because it would give families lifetime memories.”
The President of NANTA, in response, expressed profound admiration for the quality of the presentation and praised Eko Hotels’ visionary approach in redefining Nigeria’s hospitality landscape. He declared, “We will market your package globally and attract foreign tourists. You have developed a remarkable product that will elevate Nigeria’s tourism sector on the world stage, and we are thrilled to be your partner on this journey.”
In his closing remarks, the Managing Director of Eko Hotels and Suites, Mr. Ghassan Faddoul, stressed the importance of NANTA’s partnership, saying, “This is a wonderful partnership, and we expect great things to come out of it.” Mr Ghassan further noted that by embracing and promoting its positive attributes, Nigeria can redefine its identity and emerge as a leading tourist hotspot. “We invite more stakeholders to join this exciting journey, the continued, as we work together to elevate Nigeria’s tourism experience, noting that this partnership with NANTA not only highlights the country’s potential to celebrate and share its cultural wealth but also showcases an array of attractions that can compete with more established tourist destinations.”
